My History
I come from a family of pig breeders and have learned my trade the old fashioned way from learning from my father.
I personally discovered Lops in 1997. I bought one from a local breeder and immediately discovered that its versatility and taste were unrivalled. I decided to become a breeder and follow in my family's footsteps, and bought my first in-pig gilt from Julian Collings in Cornwall.
I am particularly interested in rare breeds and since breeding Lops I have made it my mission to preserve all the bloodline’s that are left. I feel very strongly about this, as once they are extinct they can never again be enjoyed. I managed to secure the last Supreme Boar line and have encouraged other breeders to use him to help repopulate the country. I turned my attention to the female lines next, and finally in 2005 I acquired all 10 lines including the common Harmony to the rare Queen.
